I know I should take it more seriously…but every day something comes out of North Korea that makes me chuckle.

Besides rebutting the “fuck off and go back to Canada” claims, this was my favorite part of Jim Carrey’s post:

This has to be one of the best political ads I’ve seen for a long time.

UPDATE: Apparently the person who shot the video and posted it online isn’t too happy that it was used for a political ad!

Yesterday’s Muclair’s NDP Ad from the Conservative Party of Canada had the same played out horror music, black and white images, creepy voice over, and scary fonts the Harper crew always uses. It might contain about 1/20th of the creativity the Quebec liberals put into their ad against PQ leader Pauline Marois.

I prefer my political messaging to have some substance, but lets face it - the majority of Canadians get mesmerized by the simplistic.

As Saudi Arabia’s legendary lack of human rights, and oppression of anything without a penis continues, my father ask me once again, “why don’t we go get them?” We both know the answer hasn’t changed - they keep oil set in U.S. dollars in the global market.

We barely speak about the religious fundamental ultra conservative monacry that is Saudia Arabia despite headines that chronicle behaviour that is just biazzare coming from a Western context. And no one says a thing - not us, the U.S., or the Olympic committee.
